Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jagatpura , Jaipur helped the
society by Organized a Free Medical
Check up camp on NSS day 24,Sept,13.
It was a matter of proud to Organized such
successful camp in a short Notice.
In Camp another important part was Guest
Lecture on “Cancer Awareness Program”
By Dr. O.P.Sharma.
Program
was started with the Welcome of chief Guest Ms. Reeta Taneja, Guest of
honor Dr. O. P. Sharma and team of
Doctors.(Strength of students in Auditorium is around 150).
Introductory
Speech was given by Ms. Ruchi Sharma
followed by
a documentary on NSS Club.
She
briefed about three clubs (NSS, NCC, Scout.) which are newly established in
VIT. Welcome Speech was given by Director Academics Prof.(Dr.) M.Raisinghani.

He
discussed the Role of NSS members towards the society.
She
explained clearly about the all responsibilities lies on all NSS club members. She told the students that NSS was
introduced in our society on
24,Sept,1969
to fulfill the dreams of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi at occasion of completion
of hundred years of birth of him.
Then
vote of thanks was given by Mr. Praveen
Choudhary, registrar, VGU.
Praveen sir revised all the students about the
mission and vision of VIT.
He guided the students about their moral duties
and how to implement the
“Cancer
Awareness program” was Conducted at Auditorium and in parallel “Free Medical Camp” was Started at
10:30 AM. In awareness program Dr
O.P.Sharma told about the Symptoms of cancer and things which are to be
avoided to refrain from such a big disease.
In the camp there was a team of doctors
having all the necessary equipments for
“Test of Sugar, Test of Asthma and for Blood Pressure Measurement”
.
The medicines are also distributed to the persons who really need
them. In camp around 250 candidates are investigated in which 100 are from our
campus and 150 are from surrounding Areas.
All the persons attended the camp were really grateful to our team
of Organisers.
We wish to Organise Such Camps in Every Year.

DONATION CAMP, 1 OCT,13
Blood
Donation camp was organized by the NSS, Scouts & NCC club in association
with Span NGO in VIT Campus . Doctors team from SMS came & approx. 306 Unit blood was donated on this
day. Dr. V.S.Malik was the chief guest of this camp .

oct,2013
NSS
students visited Indera Kusht Asram, Khatipura & met lepers to identify
their problems & what they were facing in their daily routine life.
Students collected fund & donate water tank & medicines, bandages to
the lepers.

Attended
the RTI Workshop at Times of India Office, where we learnt how to get
information from government authorities. NSS members files 10 application
regarding social problems.

Voting
campaign , 22nd to 24th Nov, 2013
Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jagatpura , Jaipur awakes the society by Organize a Voting awareness program on 22,Nov,13.
It’s a matter of proud to Organize such
successful program in a short Notice.
In Camp another important part was rally on “Voting Awareness ” By VIT students.
Program
was started with the building a human chain around the NRI circle, pratap
nagar.(Strength of students in chain is around 150).
After human
chain students conducted a rally from
NRI circle to panna dhai
circle,pratap nagar.
After
that rally was finished and students returned to college.
In the
sequence of program student performed a drama on voting awareness. They told us
the importance of a single vote to make a peaceful and developed country .

Through
the skit students gave a message to the society to vote and utilize your right.
It is our responsibility also.
All the members of NSS, NCC and Scout have attended the program. we
are thankful to Director Gaurav Bagaria
sir for help us to conduct such a successful event.

AIDS DAY is Organized World wide on 1st December. Due to Election
NSS members conducted a program on one
day before.
In
Program students are collected in
collected in chain and made the symbol of AIDS. They take oath to aware the
society to refrain from AIDS.
All the members of NSS, NCC and Scout have attended
the program. we are thankful to Director
Gaurav Bagaria sir for guide us to conduct such a successful event.
