4 Days Service Selection Board(SSB) training workshop was organized in VIT Campus for NCC cadets by Sanik Kalyan Evam Punarwas Samiti.

Col Ashiwini Bhardwaj, Signals & Systems, Indian Army,J&K, gave this SSB training overview about the career in Armed forces, condusted various test like SRT,PDDT, GD's, WAT, SD etc.

He also gave an idea about Military planning, Lecturette, introduction about group tasks , snake race, hurdel race, individual task.

Attended the RTI Workshop at Times of India Office, where we learn t how to get information from government authorities. NCC & NSS members files 10 application regarding social problems.

ANTI LEPROSY DAY

                      

                   Anti leprosy day, 3 oct,2013

NSS students visited Indera Kusht Asram, Khatipura & met lepers to identify their problems & what they were facing in their daily routine life. Students collected fund & donate water tank & medicines, bandages to the lepers. 

 

NCC DAY CELEBRATION

             NCC Day celebration, 27^th Nov,2013

World wide NCC day is being celebrated on the 4^th Sunday of November but Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jagatpura , Jaipur celebrated NCC Day on 27,Nov,2013, Wednesday. This was the first NCC Day celebration program organized by the NCC Club.

This was the first time in a private institute, NCC day was celebrated & cadets showed such an enthusiasm in participation in parade as well as cultural. It was a matter of proud to Organized such  program successfully in a short Notice.

The day started with the welcome of chief Guest Col. V.D.Chand, Commanding Officer, 1 Raj NCC Battalion,Group Headquater.

Chief Guest Col.V.D.Chand  hoisted the NCC Flag along with National Anthem. Cadets  saluted & honored  the flag by firing in the guns in sky. Then  cadets showed  the march past .

Then Col.V.D.Chand met all the cadets personally & take an introduction & motivate them. 

After that all guests escorted to an auditorium & onwards function was continued there. Mr Gaurav Bagaria, Director, VIT Campus presented bouquet to chief guest.

Introductory speech about the Club was given by Mrs. Ruchi Sharma, Chief NCC Coordinator along with the club documentary.

 

Welcome speech was given by Prof.(Dr).M.Raisinghani, Director Academics, VIT Campus & motivated the students to join NCC in parallel with academics.
 

After that a solo dance was presented by the NCC cadet Aditi Sharma of VIT
 

Chief Guest Col.V.D.Chand addressed the audience by shared  his experiences in NCC & the benefits of National Cadet Corp.
 

In sequence the Annual Training Camp Certificates were given to NCC cadets.
 

Mrs.Ruchi Sharma and Mr.Gopal Ram Babel were also awarded by the 1 Raj NCC Battalion for their continuous efforts& efficient work for NCC Cadets.

 
Then a patriotic group dance performance was given by VIT students.

  

After that shawl and memento were presented to chief guest by Dr.Praveen Choudhary , Registrar VGU.

 

 

Mr .Gaurav Bagaria, Director VIT Campus, ended the program by vote of thanks & congratulated all  VITians for the initiation of NCC Club  & encourage the students to utilize this opportunity in the campus only.
 

At the end of program all the members of club, dignitaries and students stand up and sung the NCC song.

 

 

All the members of  NCC, NSS and Scouts club students & coordinators  have attended the program. We are  thankful to Dircetor Academics  Prof(Dr.)M.Raisinghani, Director Gaurav Bagaria, Princiapl VIT Prof(Dr.)D.P. Darmora, Dean R&D Dr. S.S. Dhinsa for helped us to conduct such a  event successfully.
